Cycling
You can set off right at the site.
The Trin tours start at the village square right by us: a quarter to half an hour to the Crestasee, a full day through the Rhine Gorge, and everything in between. The built trails of Flims and Laax are a postbus ride away. Up top you go by mountain lift or train, and the bike comes along.
The times are guides. With an e-bike it's often twice as fast as on muscle power, and every climb counts — to the Crestasee, for instance, some take 10 minutes, others 30.

- The road to the Crestasee is closed to cars for the last kilometre — by bike you can ride right up to the lake.
- How long it takes to reach the lake depends on the gradient and the bike: about 10 minutes with an e-bike, up to 30 under your own power.
- At Punt Suraua a playground and a fire pit lie along the way.
- You can stop for a meal at the Restaurant Crestasee.
- A path behind the restaurant leads to the viewing platform above the Felsbach gorge.
- Orchids grow along the wayside.

A farm track climbs from Trin Mulin up to Conn and the Il Spir viewing platform, then the loop turns towards Flims and runs through the Grosswald to the Crestasee. - Just before car park 5, keep going straight ahead; a farm track then leads on to Conn.
- After Conn keep towards Flims and turn right at the next junction.
- The Grosswald is the shady part of the route; on hot afternoons that's reason enough to choose this loop.
- The Crestasee's water is of drinking quality — swimwear is worth packing.
- At Punt Suraua a fire pit and a playground lie right along the way.
- Stop for a meal at Restaurant Conn or the Ustria Parlatsch.

from the site via Ruegna to the Crestasee
Via Ruegna to the Crestasee and through the forest to Flims, on to the Walser village of Fidaz. From there the path climbs along the rock face of the Flimserstein into the quiet high valley of Bargis. You ride back the same way — the gradient is spread evenly over the whole climb, calling for fitness rather than riding skill.
- From Flims the climb carries the number 250: at SchweizMobil the route is called Hochtal Bargis and measures 23 km with 840 metres of ascent from Flims.
- It's 10.8 km and about 1:55 hours to Bargis; so half the time is the climb.
- The road is paved as far as Bargis, after which an unpaved road leads through the high valley to the Alp Rusna.
- There is also an old alp path as a way back — it's noticeably steeper and only for very experienced riders.

- The Restaurant Bargis is known for its fruit tart.
- There is a fire pit at the forest edge near Fidaz.

Alp Mora Tour (251)
27.9 km · 4:40 h · 1,233 m up and down · Route 251 · moderate
from the site to Trin Porclis, then via the Via Hans Erni into the village
The longest mountain tour from Trin: in Trin Quadris the alp path branches off to the left and heads towards the Alp Mora. After about five kilometres the Maliens alpine hamlet lies along the way, after which the route crosses the Maliens stream and climbs above the tree line. At the top, at 2,100 metres, the view opens into the Safiental and towards the Piz Beverin — a continuous climb on an alp path that calls for fitness, not riding skill.
- The route carries the number 251 and is called Alp Mora at SchweizMobil; start and finish are at Trin Porclis.
- The climb runs mostly on paved road, further up on forest track.
- Signpost 408 on the Alp Mora is reached after about 3:45 hours; from there you return the same way.
- The Alp Mora bus does not take bikes — you ride down yourself.
- The access road to the Alp Mora is closed to private traffic; the road is correspondingly quiet.
- A half-hour walk leads to the glacier mills; in high summer you can swim in the turquoise water.
- The descent into the Bargistal is neither signposted nor mapped — it's only for very skilled, sure-footed riders.
- There is no drinking fountain along the way — bring enough with you.
- The last toilet is at the Purcs bus stop.
- Suckler cows and livestock guardian dogs graze on the alp pastures.
- There are no fire pits on this route.
- Rideable from spring to autumn.

Forest tracks alternate with main roads, with natural rock tunnels in between — six and a half hours in the saddle, for which you need fitness and a full day.

Laax and Crap Sogn Gion by postbus and cable car, Domat/Ems and Bonaduz by train
Besides Flims, four more pump tracks lie within reach: in the rocksresort in Laax, in the GALAAXY Park up on the Crap Sogn Gion, in Domat/Ems by the tennis courts, and in Bonaduz. All four work the same way — pump rhythmically instead of pedalling, and the momentum carries you through the bends. That's enough for an hour in between, without anyone having to ride a whole tour.
- The pump track in the rocksresort lies by the valley station in Laax Murschetg; a conveyor belt takes you up there.
- The cable car from Laax Murschetg takes you up to the Crap Sogn Gion.
- To Bonaduz and Domat/Ems you go by Rhaetian Railway from Trin Station.
- Balance bike, kids' bike, BMX or mountain bike — anything rides on a pump track.
