Almost always, yes. We only get full on the odd weekend in July and August, and even that rarely. On all other days there is space.
See the full days →From 15 people on we ask for a reservation by email. For smaller groups the free choice of pitch applies just as it does for everyone else. Behind the Wiedenwäldchen there is a group area of its own.
Write an enquiry →On the campsite there are no fixed arrival and departure times. Come whenever it suits you. Your arrival should be before 22:00, from then on it is quiet hours. Reception is open daily from 9 to 10 and from 17 to 18 — that is where you register and pay. For the rooms and the rental caravan: move in from 14:00, departure by 11:00.
Yes, and there is no length limit. From the Trin Mulin stop it is about 400 metres along a gravel track, past the tennis court, the football pitch and the cross-country ski trail. The track is closed to general traffic — for the drive to the campsite you may use it.
Full directions →From 1 April to 31 October.
On the campsite you pay for what you bring with you, plus per person: adults (16 and over) CHF 14, teenagers (13–15) CHF 10, children (6–12) CHF 6. Younger children stay for free. The visitor's tax is already included. A room costs CHF 70 per night, plus CHF 20 per person aged 16 and over and CHF 10 per child from 3 to 15 — from 16 teenagers count as adults in the room, infants up to 2 stay for free. The rental caravan costs CHF 38 per night; the prices per person are the same as in the room. For rooms and the rental caravan the minimum in July and August is 3 nights.
All prices →On the campsite you pay on arrival at reception, in cash or by card; card payments incur a 3 % surcharge. If you really can't come by during reception hours, leave the amount in cash in the payment envelope. For the rooms and the rental caravan you transfer 50 % in advance — the account details are in the email you receive right after booking. As soon as the payment has arrived, we confirm for good.
Yes. For motorhomes and caravans the connection is included in the price, otherwise it costs CHF 5 per night. There is also a tent meadow with an electricity connection.
Yes, there is a washing machine. One wash costs about CHF 4 to 7, depending on programme and weight.
The existing annual pitches are all taken at the moment.
Yes, you get the Trin guest card from us. At the Crestasee you pay CHF 5 admission with it instead of 7.
Please arrive before 22:00. From 22:00 it is quiet hours. Look for a spot and come to reception in the morning between 9 and 10 — that is where you register and pay.
Up to 14 days before arrival, yes. From 13 to 4 days beforehand half of the total price falls due, from 3 days beforehand the whole amount. If we can let the period to someone else, the fee is waived.
The full terms →Yes, free and without a password. The network is called «gast camping». It reaches the southern part below the Erdhaus — further up the site it does not arrive everywhere.
There is no regular restaurant. In fine weather and when the site is well filled we make pizza on Saturdays. There is also a pizza station where you make your own pizza, and a kitchen in the Erdhaus for cooking for yourself.
At the disposal station directly south below the Erdhaus.
Toilets, showers, washing facilities and a kitchen in the Erdhaus. The showers are included in the price. Outside: playground, tipi, fire pits and an orchard.
Everything in detail →There are three: a quiet and shady one that suits groups, a quiet and sunny one at the edge, and one with an electricity connection. The site plan shows where they are.
See the site plan →Yes, everywhere. The drinking water here is excellent. You can fill up at the fountain and don't need to bring any.
The Crestasee can be reached on foot in a good half hour, the Il Spir viewing platform above the Rhine Gorge in about an hour. To the Caumasee it is about an hour and a half — or a short stretch by postbus. The tennis court, the football pitch and the cross-country ski trail lie right on the access road.
Walks, shopping and events →In the village there is the Ustria Parlatsch with Grisons cuisine — capuns and Trin raviuls. An hour's walk uphill lies Restaurant Conn by the viewing platform, open all year and the finest walking destination with lunch. Here on the site there is pizza on Saturdays in fine weather, otherwise the pizza station for baking your own.
All the options →Bed linen and towels are included. Every room has a toilet, a shower and its own terrace. There is no fridge in the room; you can cook in the kitchen in the Erdhaus. We don't provide a cot — please bring your own.
Yes. Our four donkeys stand on the meadow next door — please don't feed them, they get enough. And Cylla, our snow-white cat. All around are farms with cows and horses, and at the edge of the forest you keep seeing deer.
The Volg in Trin Mulin is a few minutes away: Monday to Friday 7 to 19, Saturday 7 to 17, closed on Sundays. Bread and baked goods are available there. Up in the village there is a second Volg.
More about the area →Yes, we sell coffee and drinks at reception. Reception is open daily from 9 to 10 and from 17 to 18. We don't have bread. The Volg is a few minutes away.
Yes, on a lead. A dog costs CHF 4 per night. In the rental accommodation a one-off CHF 10 for the final cleaning is added.
In principle yes, there are three official fire pits. In dry spells a fire ban can apply. If one is in force, we will let you know.
Please no wet wipes down the toilet — not even the ones that say «flushable». They block the sewage pump. Drive slowly on the gravel track, children come round the corner. And only organic waste belongs in the organic container.
No. The Vorderrhein flows down in the gorge, and it pulls hard — it is not suitable for swimming. People swim in the lakes: the Crestasee is within walking distance and pleasantly warm in summer, the Caumasee a little further. The pond on the site is for looking at, not for swimming.
Ways to the lakes →Write to us.
